Don started out in construction working for several custom home builders in West Virginia where he grew up. This gave him experience in all phases of home construction.
Upon moving to the Washington, D.C. Metro area in February of 1976, Don went to work for a commercial contractor where he learned all the phases of the commercial tenant construction trade.
In July of 1978, Don started his own home improvement company. Over the past 35 years, Hartman Construction has completed a wide variety of jobs.
This job was designed by John Shermer, Architect (301-788-5152). One part of the kitchen remodel/addition project was redesigning the wall between the dining room to become a low wall serving as a counter, wine cooler, and new pantry cabinets.
The master bath was reconfigured to provide an enlarged walk in shower with bench seat area with hand shower enclosed in a clear tempered glass area, wall mounted temperature & volume controls with a ceiling located rain fall shower head.
