Arlington, VA Kitchen Remodel
Kitchen remodeling project in Arlington, Virginia.
Pre-engineered steel building for Northwest Golf Course.
Armor Steel pre-engineered all steel building. 40′ x 80′ with 14′ side walls. 4 overhead doors, with two man doors. One on each end. This building is used for an equipment storage.
The owner had just recently completed the replacement of the windows, siding, and roof to bring the home up to date. We finished the country look by adding the porch and overhead porch roof to match all existing finishes. The decking chosen was GEO-DECK vinyl composite. We added overhead lighting for evenings out on the porch.
This was our first job outside the United States. We had the opportunity and privilege to work with a local company in Togo, Africa, BAK Transaction LLC, led by Mr. Amah. The project involved constructing two buildings complete with a full set of aluminum bleachers for Togo’s 50th year celebration of independence from the French.
Don Hartman personally traveled to Togo to oversee the erection of this project along with a team of 9 men from the area to do the steel erection and the over site of the bleacher installation.
These two buildings, complete with a full set of aluminum bleachers built in place, were for a government event in Togo, Africa. It was for the 50th year celebration of their Independence from the French. The two canopies were to provide seating and shade for the President’s special invited guests.
Once on site in Togo, Africa, we had the opportunity to train and work alongside of the local labors that were provided by another one of the local General Contractors. The local help was very eager to help, and they were quick learners.
